The Chrysler Museum of Art Presents Rembrandt's Etchings: The Embrace of Darkness and Light Norfolk, VA June 1 - August 17, 2008 Rembrandt achieved unparalleled fame as a printmaker and is hailed today as one of the greatest etchers of all time. Drawn from the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the exhibition includes more than 130 of the master’s etchings, and traces Rembrandt’s career as a printmaker from the drama and technical razzle-dazzle of his early productions to the quiet mystery and poetry of his final works. The Summer Nights Concert Series Busch Gardens Williamsburg Every Saturday and Sunday July 19 - August 17 The always popular “Summer Nights” concert series returns to Busch Gardens in 2008. And this year’s lineup is as exciting as ever. Every Saturday and Sunday for five weekends starting July 19, some of the best rockers will take the stage. The Summer Nights concert series will take place at Festhaus Park in Busch Gardens. This year’s lineup includes: · Rick Springfield (July 19 – 20) · Grand Funk Railroad (July 26 – 27) · The Charlie Daniels Band (August 2 – 3) · Guess Who (August 9 – 10) · Peter Frampton (August 16 – 17)
